In recent times the cottage has been transformed into a museum and also functions as the Sydney Harbor National Park Information Center. The Cadman’s Cottage is open for the visitors on all days of the year except for Good Friday and Christmas day. The timings of the place are from 9:30 am till 4:30 pm in the evening on the weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays the cottage remains welcomes the visitors from 10 am to 4:30 pm.



The Cadman’s Cottage was so named since it was occupied by John Cadman in the year 1827. The building had numerous owners over the years which include the Government and other institutional organizations. The owners should be credited with the brilliant upkeep of the Cadman’s Cottage. The cottage is one of the oldest buildings of not only Sydney but also of the entire country of Australia. Since the place now serves as an information center for the national parks in and around Sydney, you would be able to find all the details of the same there.

The Cadman’s Cottage does not charge any entrance fee from the visitors. You could visit the place with your family and friends.
